Dear Clients, Friends, and Family,
As I reach several meaningful milestones this year, I’ve found myself reflecting on my career and the path that brought me here. I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent so many years doing work that I care deeply about—serving my clients as both an advisor and as co-founder of Aegis Consulting.
While my journey with Aegis is far from over—I will continue as a Managing Partner and remain actively engaged with my clients—I increasingly rely on my partners and team to help carry forward the day-to-day mission of the firm.
Like any meaningful journey, there have been both highs and lows along the way. But without question, the highs have far outweighed the challenges. What has made this journey truly rewarding have been the people. I am deeply grateful to the clients who have placed their confidence in me, the colleagues I have had the privilege of working alongside at Aegis, and the many individuals I was fortunate to learn from earlier in my career at Cigna and Lincoln.
It has been an honor to work with business owners on transition planning, assist families with legacy and estate planning considerations, and support executives as they prepare for retirement and other financial priorities. Most importantly, I've had the privilege of working with clients as they plan for the long-term stewardship and preservation of the wealth they have built.
What excites me most today is the growth potential and future of Aegis. We welcomed respected advisors and a robust team, including Mimie Yoon Lee, our Managing Director, and Nate Sabattini, our Operations Analyst. I have great confidence in the next generation of advisors at Aegis, as well as the interns training alongside us—each of whom represents the future of this profession.
My partner Alex Harrison, through all his trials and tribulations has pressed on to develop the foundation that has allowed Aegis to develop in very respectful and orderly fashion.
As my practice continues to evolve, it is both a privilege and a responsibility to thoughtfully transition client relationships to this next generation. I do so with deep confidence in their capabilities and with sincere gratitude for the confidence you have placed in me over the years.
