More Than Financial Planning: Building Relationships That Last

More Than Financial Planning: Building Relationships That Last

September 02, 2026

Financial planning has been part of Nathan Rogero’s life for as long as he can remember. Both his grandfather and father were financial advisors, and Nathan grew up watching his father build a successful career while raising 10 children. That example first drew him to the profession, showing him that a demanding career could still leave room for family and the things that matter most. After 19 years in the business, what continues to motivate Nathan is the challenge of solving complex problems, continuing to learn, and helping clients through situations that are never exactly the same. He believes that willingness to keep learning and refusing to give up has been one of the biggest factors in his success.

Nathan’s approach to advising clients has also evolved significantly over time. Early in his career, he focused primarily on life insurance and disability income insurance, while today he takes a comprehensive view of each client’s financial picture and works to make sure every part of the plan supports the others. He believes clients should understand what is being recommended, why it matters, and what comes next throughout the planning process. For Nathan, trust is built by listening carefully, showing genuine concern, solving problems, and consistently following through on commitments. He takes that responsibility seriously because the decisions financial advisors help clients make can affect their families and financial futures for decades.

Some of Nathan’s most meaningful work happens when financial planning becomes deeply personal, whether that means helping a family through a difficult situation, delivering a death claim, or working through a complicated challenge a client may not know how to navigate alone. Nathan also values being part of an Aegis team where advisors share their knowledge, experience, and resources to help one another succeed. Ultimately, he hopes clients remember that he worked hard to do what was right for their families, helped them work toward the goals they set together, and genuinely cared about their success.
